New Board ready for a quick start

Dirk Broos and Rudi D’Hauwers have been appointed to sit on the Board of the Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO) as representatives of Flanders. Along with two Dutch fellow-board members, they will be in day-to-day charge of safeguarding the quality of higher education in Flanders and the Netherlands. With their arrival, NVAO is welcoming a wealth of expertise in higher education and experience with the Flemish quality assurance system to its board table. Their appointment marks a thorough reform of the NVAO Executive Board. Earlier this year, NVAO had already announced that Anneke Luijten-Lub would be succeeding Paul Zevenbergen as a new Dutch board member. Anne Flierman will remain at his post as Chairman.
