Comment:	Indien het accreditatiebesluit van de NVAO negatief is, kan een instelling bij de Vlaamse Regering een aanvraag indienen voor een tijdelijke erkenning. Bij deze aanvraag moet een gedetailleerd verbeteringsplan worden gevoegd. Hierin geeft het instellingsbestuur op een toetsbare manier aan hoe ze de kwaliteit en het niveau van de opleiding zal verbeteren. Vooraleer de Vlaamse Regering een tijdelijke erkenning verleent moet de Erkenningscommissie advies geven of het voorgestelde verbeteringsplan haalbaar en realistisch is. If the accreditation decision by NVAO is negative, an institution can request temporary accreditation by the Flemish Government. This request must be accompanied by a detailed improvement plan. The university management thus provides a verifiable means to how the quality of the programme will improve. Before the Flemish Government grants a temporary accreditation the Recognition Commission advises whether the proposed improvement plan is feasible and realistic.
