SAMENarie Flemish Quality Assurance System 2025-203128/11/2025
In September 2025, the new cycle of the Flemish quality assurance system commenced. To mark this transition, NVAO organised a fully booked SAMENarie for quality assurance professionals from Flemish universities and universities of applied sciences. All participants actively engaged with the operationalisation of the quality assurance system and the ways in which it is implemented within their own institutions.
From the perspective of NVAO, the focus was on the application of the methodological approach within the new Flemish quality assurance system 2025–2031. In addition, attention was given to the revised reporting approach that NVAO will apply in this cycle.
Institutions worked in groups on their own public information: its content and presentation, where it can be found online, and to what extent they consider this information to be up to date, traceable, and valid. This exploratory exercise led to engaging in-depth discussions and valuable exchanges of experience.
We would like to thank all participants for the open dialogue and strong contributions. Together, we will continue to work over the coming months on the further operationalisation of the Flemish quality assurance system.
