NVAO event: first BTS SynCo in Luxembourg06/05/2025
On 6 May 2025, NVAO invited the coordinators of the Luxembourg BTS programmes the its first BTS SynCo event, organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESR).
NVAO's BTS SynCo aims to bring together the BTS programmes in order to share good practices and to facilitate discussions on the development of their quality.
The first BTS SynCo enabled a constructive exchange among BTS coordinators on their pedagogical good practices and their respective approaches to teaching and learning. The participants reflected on the added value of their programmes and on the approaches used to develop students’ key competences, with a view to enabling them to attain level 5 of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF).
Through hands-on group exercises, participants looked at level descriptors, shared concrete examples from practice, and reflected on how students grow from entry to graduation. Everyone was eager to contribute ideas, to ask thoughtful questions, and to help connect the dots between curriculum, teaching & learning, and student assessment.
